George Eastman Museum (Where we are getting married!):

The George Eastman Museum is located on the estate of George Eastman, the pioneer of popular photography and motion picture film. Founded in 1947 as an independent nonprofit institution, it is the world’s oldest photography museum and one of the oldest film archives. If you visit on Saturday, May 23rd prior to the Ceremony please feel free to tell the front desk you are a part of the wedding to get in for free on us!

Memorial Art Gallery:
Located in an Italian Renaissance style building on University Avenue in the neighborhood of the arts. The MAG is known as the “mini Met,” as it offers the best depth and breadth of a collection in New York outside of New York City. Set aside two to three hours to explore 5,000 years of art history.

Rochester Public Market (Colby’s Favorite Spot):
The City of Rochester Public Market, located at 280 North Union St. in Center City, has served the community since 1905 and offers an huge assortment of fresh seasonal produce direct from area farmers as well as from around the country and world; meats and seafood; eggs and cheese; baked goods and pasta; specialty and prepared foods, dry goods and general merchandise; clothing and jewelry; and much much more! On the Market grounds and in the surrounding Market Business District are cafes, coffee shops, bakeries, full service restaurants, food stands, a brewery, a distillery, art studios and galleries. The Market's outdoor and indoor vendor sheds are open year-round: Tuesdays and Thursdays 6am to 1pm, and Saturdays from 5am to 3pm.

Take a Stroll Down Park Ave & East Ave:
Spend a leisurely morning exploring Rochester’s most charming streets. Start your day with brunch along Park Ave, there are plenty of cozy spots with outdoor seating and great coffee. Afterward, pop into Parkleigh, a local favorite filled with unique gifts and treasures. From there, wander to East Avenue to admire the historic mansions and architecture that line the street. If you’re in the mood for something sweet, stop by Stever’s Chocolates, a beloved family-run shop since 1946, or grab a cone at Pittsford Dairy, just a short walk away, for some of the best homemade ice cream in the area.

Record Archive:
Record Archive has been a music & entertainment destination in Rochester since 1975. Specializing in vintage vinyl, the recently expanded store also includes all of the latest music releases as well as unique gifts & toys, vintage clothing & furniture, t-shirts, souvenirs, 1000's of movies, two live music stages, audio equipment, and much more! Record Archive is the first Record Store in NYS to serve beer and wine daily.

The Erie Canal - Pittsford or Fairport (Parker’s Favorite):
One of the most popular ways to explore is along the Erie Canal towpath, part of the Empire State Trail. The wide, flat trail runs alongside the canal through parks and charming villages, making it ideal for a peaceful walk or bike ride. There are multiple access points throughout Monroe County, but two of the most beloved spots are Pittsford and Fairport. In Pittsford, start your walk at Schoen Place, where you can grab coffee from Village Bakery & Café, browse local shops, or stop by Pittsford Farms Dairy for homemade ice cream. You might also catch the Sam Patch tour boat departing nearby, a perfect way to learn about the canal’s rich history. In Fairport, enjoy the energy of a classic canal town. Watch boats pass beneath the historic lift bridge, visit the Fairport Brewing Company, or treat yourself to Moonlight Creamery by the water. The Colonial Belle offers narrated cruises that combine Fairport’s vibrant village charm with the peaceful rhythm of the canal.

Radio Social:

Radio Social is a bowling alley, restaurant, bar, music venue, and social club located in Rochester's historical Stromberg-Carlson warehouse. The facility features 34 bowling lanes, lounge areas, a variety of indoor and outdoor games, a full-service restaurant, and two bars.

Ontario Beach Park:
Spend an afternoon at Ontario Beach Park, Rochester’s very own lakeside escape on the shores of Lake Ontario. Located in the charming Charlotte neighborhood, this historic park offers a peaceful blend of beachside relaxation and old-fashioned charm. Nearby, you’ll find Abbott’s Frozen Custard, a Rochester classic since 1902, don’t miss their chocolate almond or vanilla custard swirl.
